Autumn 2006
October 27th 2006 - Puerto's Halloween PArty
I cannot think of a better way of starting our Autumn page, that talking about the Puerto Aventura's School Halloween party.
It was a great success! From the decoration, to the organization and of course, we cannot forget the great costumes!
Almost all Puerto attended. With or without kids, with or without costumes. The only important thing was to bring the community spirit that made this night a great success. As I write, the party is still going on.
It started at 5pm with the little ones of Puerto dressed in the cutest outfits. They all attended. The well known pumpkin, the ghost, the skull and some more original, like The Geisha.
When the sun started to hide, the teenagers of Puerto joined us. And they liked it so much that they are still there, dancing at the kiosk which has been turned into a disco for the night.
The decoration was amazing! We will give a 10 to Puerto Aventura's mothers who worked so hard in all the details of the event. We won't forget the daddys either, who were the best bar-tenders/sales-people of the night; so a good 8 for them too. Sorry daddys, but you need to admit that mummys worked harder.
Seeing everybody together, the most diverse age mix, from 2 months to 60 years old, having fun in such an innocent, orderly way is one of the things that make us proud to say that we live in Puerto Aventuras, a place where community still exists.
We hope that the school gathers enough funds, but even if not, at least all the effort wasn't wasted, because we all really enjoyed it.
Happy Halloween and Happy Autumn to all of you!
