I always ( well amost always !) make a note here when I add something new to the site, though for frequently updated pages such as 'The Scuba FAQ', 'News About Karin' and 'Puerto Aventuras News', it's better to bookmark those pages directly. It's a good place to start looking around. The dates here are the dates the pages were built and released, and are usually completely unrelated to the actual dates that the pictures were taken on.

It's pretty shocking that the website has been left without a significant update for so long. The backlog is bigger than ever but I resolve to put in at least 30 mins a day to keeping it alive. I've been in Peru for most of this year and I expect to be here a while longer. So here's something to start with from a little hillwalking trip just outside Lima.

A day off and I head off with some colleagues to visit Lakatnik Rocks, the home of Bulgarian Mountaineering. An interesting train journey through the Iskar gorge and a decent walk to the top of the cliffs.

Lucky Liliana and Karin get to visit the Mexican Island of Holbox during whale shark season. Karin spent the day meeting new friends at the local school while Liliana heads out to snorkel with the famous whale sharks.

With the ever increasing traffic on the site, interested in baby showers, we thought we would expand the whole baby thing, and so two new pages are published to make it easier to get around the baby things content.

Travelling in Germany and a visit to the Medieval town of Heidleberg.

Long on our list of places to see. In February we finally made the trip inland from Tulum to visit the less frequently trapsed Mayan ruins of Coba. Definitely a place worth the hour and a half or so from Playa Del Carmen.
Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Travelling again, and this time to Eastern Europe, where I had a chance to visit Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria and to spend some time amongst the Roman ruins of Plovdiv.
